A trust company should be judged as much by the authority it refuses to claim as by what it does.
If and when InVisee introduces a verification status, it will mean one specific thing: that a stated piece of evidence has been checked against our own records. It will never mean that InVisee endorses a buyer, a project, a message, or anyone’s judgment. We’re stating this now, before the feature exists, so the boundary is clear from the start rather than negotiated later.
Internally, we hold ourselves to a specific discipline for how identity, authority, consent and evidence should work together — we call it the InVisee Identity Trust Standard. Right now, that is exactly what it is: our own internal doctrine, tested against our own decisions. It is not an external standard other companies have adopted, and we won’t describe it as though it were, before that’s actually true.
InVisee’s founder, Bront Palarae, also serves as an Independent, Non-Executive Director of MyCreative Ventures Sdn. Bhd., a government-linked investment body for Malaysia’s creative industries. InVisee is an independently conceived venture — it is not a MyCreative Ventures initiative, programme, or investment — and any potential conflict is disclosed and managed through MyCreative Ventures’ own governance process.
